poached pear, moving into more subtle tones of toasted nuts. On the palate, the wine explodes with mineral-inflected notes of pastry dough, candied lemon, green apples, and white stone fruits. Fresh and vibrant, with a classic profile that says Burgundy more than California, it walks a tightrope of crisp acidity balanced by great texture and complexity.
